Navigating pet travel regulations from the USDA is a critical step when preparing your pet for domestic or international travel. Noah’s Pet Transport by The ARK at JFK specializes in helping pet owners meet USDA pet travel requirements, ensuring every document, vaccine, and travel certificate is handled properly to guarantee a safe and compliant journey.
Whether your pet is traveling across the country or around the world, understanding the USDA’s role in pet travel compliance is essential — and we’re here to make it simple.
The USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) oversees pet exports from the United States. Pets traveling internationally must meet strict USDA pet travel requirements to avoid delays, quarantine, or denial of entry at their destination.
Each country has its own regulations, and missing even one requirement can result in travel delays or pet quarantine.
The USDA APHIS pet certificate is a government-endorsed document confirming your pet’s health and travel readiness. It must be completed by a USDA-accredited veterinarian and endorsed by an official USDA APHIS office.
Noah’s Pet Transport partners with accredited veterinarians to facilitate quick, correct preparation of the necessary USDA travel documents.
